I thought this hood insulation pad would be thicker. It looks okay, but the material feels a bit cheap. Also, the clips didn’t fit well with my 1983 Blazer. Wish it was better quality!

Great fit for my S10!
I installed the PIT66 hood insulation pad in my 1990 Chevy S10 and it fits like a glove. The clips work well and I love that it’s thick enough to really help with sound insulation. Definitely makes a difference on the road!

Good quality but tough to install
The hood insulation pad seems solid and well-made, but I found the installation a bit tricky. The clips could use better instructions; I had to fiddle around a lot. Once it was in, it looks great though!

Does the job, but arrived late
I got the PIT66 insulation pad for my 1984 S10 Blazer, and it works fine for sound reduction. However, it took longer than expected to arrive, which was frustrating. Just plan for delays if you order this!
