Tall ball joints are one of the hottest trends in the aftermarket, and for good reason. They correct fundamental deficiencies in the suspension that cause poor handling. In a modern performance car, the top of the tire leans inwards around a turn to ensure maximum contact with the road. Classic muscle cars are backwards - the top of the tire leans out, yielding a small tire contact patch and poor handling.
