The BACKRACK Rear Bar accessory simply drops into the rear Stake Pockets of your truck. The two inch tube runs across the rear of your truck bed with tie hooks at the same width apart as the upright posts on the BACKRACK Cab Guard. The Rear Bar allows for full opening and closing of the tailgate and can be removed in seconds for storage.
The Backrack is decent for my 2021 Dodge Ram; it fits nicely and looks good. However, shipping took an extra week longer than expected. Installation was straightforward, but I did have to double-check the instructions a couple of times.

Solid Addition to My Ram
I installed this RealTruck Backrack on my 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 Classic, and it looks fantastic! The black finish is sleek, and I love that it didn’t require any drilling to set up. It really enhances the rear view while also being super functional for hauling gear.

Disappointed with the quality
Sadly, my experience with this Backrack wasn’t great. It arrived with some scratches on the paint, and a month later, it started to rust in a few spots. I expected better quality for the price, especially since it’s for a 2020 Dodge Ram. Not what I hoped for.

Looks Great, but minor issue
I got this for my 2019 Ram, and it fits well. I like the black color and easy no-drill installation. However, one of the bolts was missing from the package, which made things a bit inconvenient. Luckily, I had a spare that worked. Otherwise, I’m happy with it.
