This valve is used for temperature and pressure relief and is constructed of brass metal with a 4 epoxy-coated probe. The epoxy coating on the probe prevents the build-up of corrosion to help keep things functioning smoothly. The inlet connection is national pipe tapered while the outlet connection is MNPT, with the outlet connection size measuring 1/2. This valve protects the water heater from high water temperatures and pressure and is pre-set to 150 PSI and 210 degrees Fahrenheit. This valve is CSA certified and weighs about 8 ounces. The valve is rated for about 15,000 BTUs.
The valve itself seems to be of good quality, and it was easy to install. However, I did have to wait longer than expected for it to arrive. Overall, it functions well in my RV's water system.

Great addition to my RV setup
Installed the RecPro pressure relief valve last weekend, and it's working like a charm. The 4-inch epoxy-coated probe is really sturdy and fits perfectly in my RV system. Definitely gives me peace of mind when I'm on the road!

Works but had some setup issues

Not what I expected
I was hoping for a stronger valve. The probe seems fine, but I feel like the relief isn’t as effective as I’d hoped. Maybe it’s just my RV setup, but I’m a bit disappointed with the performance.
