I recently installed this knock-down roof rack on my Beetle, and it's been fantastic for my weekend dune buggy trips. The build feels sturdy, and it fits perfectly. Just wish the instructions were a bit clearer, it took me a while to figure out the best way to set it up.

Okay, but not without issues
This roof rack works well for my Beetle but I did have some trouble with the parts being misaligned during installation. Once I got it on, it feels secure and holds my gear nicely. Just be patient with setup, it's a bit finicky at first.

Disappointed with the quality
I was excited to get this roof rack for my Beetle, but it arrived with some scratches and one of the screws was missing. After a couple of uses, it started to wobble and I'm not confident using it anymore. Really disappointing experience.
