Many trucks and cars come equipped with Transmission Oil Coolers to maintain consistent operating temperatures for the transmission system. External Transmission Oil Coolers offer additional cooling capacity and efficiency for specific cars and trucks that have them. In addition to the Transmission Oil Coolers that are embedded into many TYC Radiators, TYC is excited to also offer externally mounted Transmission Oil Coolers.
I've been using the TYC cooler on my 2017 Pathfinder for about a month now. So far, it's doing a good job. However, I had a small leak at the fittings that I had to address. Just double-check those connections!

Not impressed with the fitment
I bought this for my 2016 Nissan Pathfinder, but the fit wasn’t as good as I hoped. It seemed to be a bit off, and I had to make adjustments to get it installed. Disappointed since I expected better from TYC.

Good cooler, but shipping took forever
The cooler itself seems solid and does what it's supposed to on my 2018 Pathfinder. It helps manage the transmission temperature nicely. Just a bummer the shipping took over two weeks!

Does the job, but installation was tricky
The oil cooler works as intended for my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, keeping the transmission temps down during long drives. However, I found the installation instructions a bit confusing, which slowed me down. Once it was in, though, it's been great!
