TYC brand of AC Condensers are designed to compliment and optimize your vehicles air conditioning system and provide years of trouble free service. Before leaving the factory, every condenser that bears the TYC label has been leak-tested and test-fit on actual vehicles for perfect installation and proper functioning. All TYC condensers are similar to OE construction and the quality is in the details, from the number of tubes, the quantity of cooling fins, to the position of all mounting brackets and inlet and outlet hoses and fittings. The design will be similar to OE to ensure quick and painless installation.
I installed this TYC condenser assembly in my 2013 Volkswagen Jetta and it fits like a charm. The quality seems solid, and the cooling is back to how it was when I first got the car. Saved a ton compared to dealership prices!

Arrived damaged, but it works now
I was disappointed when the TYC condenser arrived with a dent. I thought I might have to return it, but after some careful bending, it installed alright. Cooling seems effective now, but I'm still hesitant about the longevity. Not thrilled about the packaging.

Decent but a bit tricky to install
The TYC 3889 condenser is compatible with my 2014 Jetta, which is a plus. However, the installation instructions weren’t super clear, which made it a bit frustrating at times. Once it was in, it worked fine, just took longer than I expected!
