TYC cooling fan assemblies are designed to be comparable to OE in performance, validated through air volume test that simulates cooling ability. Each unit is an assembly with motor, fan, and shroud to simplify replacement compared to working on individual components. To ensure durability, each cooling fan design are run through tests like : corrosion resistance, endurance, moisture, torsion and, vibration. Each unit goes through a quick power-on test before leaving the factory to ensure functionality.
I was really looking forward to this TYC cooling fan assembly, but it arrived with some dents and scratches. I just wanted to get it replaced, but that process took longer than anticipated. Not what I expected for the price.

Decent quality, but installation was tough
This fan assembly from TYC is good, but I had a difficult time installing it on my 2007 Honda Fit. The instructions weren't super clear, and it took longer than I expected. Once it's in, though, it does the job well!

Solid replacement part!
This TYC fan assembly was exactly what I needed for my 2008 Honda Fit. It cools the engine down nicely and was easy to install once I figured out how to access the old one. Good bang for your buck!

I installed this TYC cooling fan assembly on my 2008 Honda Fit, and it works like a charm. It was a bit tricky to get to the old one, but the fit was perfect and it cools the engine effectively. Very pleased with the performance!
