I was really disappointed with this tailgate lock actuator. It worked fine for about four weeks, but then it just stopped responding. I followed all the installation steps carefully, so I'm not sure what happened. Would not buy again.

Minor hiccup during install
The actuator itself is solid and fits well with my 2008 LS600h, but the instructions were a bit confusing. It took me a couple of tries to figure out the wiring. Once I got it working, though, it has been great!
