By casting a totally new water pump cover, Boyesen was able to maximize the flow through the unit. Boyesens design takes advantage of everything from Bernoullis Effect to biological studies. Unlike the stocker, Boyesens water inlet has an increasing diameter and artfully curved shape. This is a vast improvement over most stock inlets, which decrease in diameter as they near the impeller and have a 90-degree bend at the pump. Patented nautilus style impeller for hydrodynamic efficiency, reducing heat, gaining horsepower and extending engine life. Can reduce engine temperatures by as much as ten degrees . The Boyesen Supercooler kit did help with cooling, but I found the installation a bit tricky. The instructions weren't super clear, and it took me longer than expected to get everything set up. However, once it was done, the performance has been solid!

Arrived damaged, disappointing experience
Unfortunately, the Boyesen Supercooler I received had a dent in the cover. I contacted customer service, but it took a while to get a response. Now I have to wait for a replacement, which is frustrating. Can't review the product's performance yet since I haven't been able to install it!

Solid upgrade for my bike
I recently installed the Boyesen WPK-80B Supercooler on my dirt bike, and I can feel the difference right away. The black finish looks great, and the water pump cover fits perfectly without any issues. It's great to see my engine running cooler, especially on those long rides!

Decent, but some issues
I like the idea of the Boyesen water pump cover, but the impeller felt a bit wobbly when I installed it. It seems to work fine, but I'm worried about long-term durability. I expected better quality for the price I paid. Not unhappy, but not thrilled either.
