The JR Products City/Gravity Water Hatch with Brass Check Valve accepts either 1-1/4 or 1-3/8 water fill hoses and features a lead-free brass check valve with 1/2 MPT and a tank vent connection. Both UV and impact resistant, it is also resistant to road salts and acids. Paintable. NSF 61. Cutout Dimensions: 3-3/4 H x 6 W. Outside Dimensions: 5-5/16 H x 7-9/16 W. Total Depth: 2-1/2.
Unfortunately, the hatch I received had a dent in it, making it impossible to install properly. I was excited about the brass check valve feature, but now I have to deal with returning it. Very disappointed!

Solid Quality and Design
I installed the JR Products 497-A hatch for my boat, and it fits perfectly! The polar white finish looks great, and the brass check valve ensures there's no unwanted water backflow. Installation was straightforward, and it feels super sturdy. Definitely a good buy!

Nice hatch but a bit tricky to install
The water hatch works well and looks good in polar white, but I had a bit of a challenge getting it set up. The instructions could’ve been clearer. Once it was installed, though, it performs like a charm with that brass check valve!

Great hatch, but arrived late
I really like the JR Products hatch. It’s well-made and blends nicely with my boat’s aesthetics. That said, it took longer to arrive than I expected, which was a bit annoying. Overall, I'm happy with it now that it’s finally here!
