A superior grade coating formulated with acrylic resin for best adhesion and maximum durability. This non-leafing pigment prevents it from rubbing off after application and is ideally suited for alternators, calipers, water pumps and transmission housing. Gives rebuilt aluminum parts a factory-fresh appearance. Wont smudge with excellent 1-coat coverage. For use on most metal and wood. Resistant corrosion and abrasion and is heat resistant to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. VOC compliant in all 50 states.
This spray paint is a solid choice for anyone looking to coat alternators or calipers. The acrylic resin holds up well, and I appreciate the 12 oz size for larger projects. I’ll definitely buy it again!

Decent, but has some issues
The dull aluminum color is pretty nice, but the spray can was a bit difficult to control at times. I ended up with some uneven spots on my water pump. It works well after a bit of touch-up though!

Color didn’t match my expectations
I was hoping for a more silver look, but the dull aluminum finish was darker than I thought. It’s fine for my calipers, but didn’t really match my other engine parts as I wanted. Just be aware of the color difference!

Great for my engine parts!
I used the S-M Arnold dull aluminum spray paint on my alternator and it came out looking brand new. The 12 oz can was just the right amount for my calipers too. It dries quickly and gives a really nice finish!
