Fitment: Universal Fit 2 Barrel MerCarb Carburetor with 3.0L 4 CYL Engine. Replaces: Mercury Marine part # 70125A-1, Sierra part #18-7665. Material: The resistance damper of marine carburetor is made of aluminum alloy material, which is corrosion resistant and durable. Function: The new marine electric choke thermostat can automatically adjust the mixture concentration according to the temperature and speed of the engine, so as to improve the starting performance of the engine. Advantage: Replace original equipment electric choke on all, the overall operation performance is more stable. Note: Since it is difficult to avoid oil stains in the production process, some products may have stains on the surface. Please rest assured to use them. When using the products, you can wear gloves for protection.
I replaced the electric choke on my Mercruiser 2-barrel carburetor with this part, and it fits like a glove. The installation was straightforward, and now my engine starts up smoothly every time. Definitely a solid replacement option!

Decent, but packaging was damaged
The choke itself seems to be working fine with my Mercruiser, but the package showed up a bit banged up. Luckily, the part was undamaged. Just a bit of a letdown on the shipping side.
