The Tuff Support rear trunk lid lift supports for my 2005 Z4 are decent, but I found the installation instructions a bit unclear. They did the job once installed, but I had to take a few extra steps to get it right. Just be prepared for a little fuss!

Solid replacement for my Z4
I bought these Tuff Support lift supports for my 2008 BMW Z4 and they work like a charm! Installation was straightforward and they hold the trunk lid up perfectly. The lift feels strong and reliable, just like the originals. Really glad I picked these up!

Not as strong as expected
I really hoped these Tuff Support lift supports would be just like the OEM ones, but they don't seem to hold the trunk lid quite as well. They work, but the lid sometimes droops slightly. It's not terrible, but I expected better performance from a new part.
