The trunk lid lift support is functional, but I found the installation instructions a little unclear. It took me longer than expected to get it fixed. Once it was on, though, it's been performing well on my SL55 during the warmer months.

Arrived damaged, not impressed
Unfortunately, my trunk lid lift support arrived with some dents. I was really looking forward to installing it on my SL500, but now I have to deal with a return. Disappointed with the delivery quality.

Not as strong as expected
I replaced my old trunk support with this one for my SL55, but honestly, it's not as strong as I hoped. It does work, but sometimes it feels like it could use a bit more lift. Still usable, just not perfect.
