3M Exterior Attachment Tape is a high performance automotive tape ideal for attaching exterior automotive body side moldings, wheel lip molding, door edge molding, badges, nameplates, emblems, LED Lights and trim.
I found the tape to be pretty effective for attaching emblems, but getting it to stick initially was a bit annoying. The roll is nice, and it’s definitely strong, but I had to make sure the surfaces were super clean before applying. Not bad overall though!

Strong hold for outdoor projects
This 3M attachment tape worked wonders for securing my outdoor moldings. It’s only 1/4 inch wide, but it holds up against the weather like a champ. I love that it’s five yards long; I had plenty to finish my trim without running out!

Disappointed, didn’t stick at all
Unfortunately, this tape didn’t work for my outdoor trim. I followed all the instructions, but after just a few days, everything started to peel away. I expected more from 3M; maybe I got a bad roll?
