3M Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter is a specially formulated adhesion promoter for use when repairing low surface energy plastics such as thermopolyolefin (TPO). Use our adhesion promoter with 3M brand adhesives. 3M Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter is designed specifically for polyolefin and ethylene propylene plastic identified by the marks PP, EP, TPO or EPDM on the back of the part.
The can was dented when it arrived, which made me worry about using it. However, I gave it a shot, and thankfully it still works fine. The adhesion promoter is effective on polyolefin surfaces, but I wish the packaging had been better.

Solid Adhesive for Automotive Projects
I used the 3M Polyolefin adhesion promoter on my car's plastic parts, and it made a huge difference! The 12 oz. can is just the right size for DIY projects. After applying it, the adhesive I used stuck like a champ. Definitely worth it if you're working with plastics!

Took a Few Trials to Stick Well
I found this 3M adhesion promoter decent, but I had to try applying it a couple of times before the adhesive held properly. It’s effective once it works, but the instructions could be clearer. Color is fine, just like expected.
