I installed these on my 1997 Expedition. They do work fine now, but I was a bit disappointed with the shipping delay. Once they arrived, installation was easy, and they hold the hood up just fine now.

Great value for the price
These hood struts are a great buy if you need replacements. I put them on my 1999 F-250, and while they do the job well, I wish the packaging hadn’t arrived a bit dented. Overall, they perform well for the cost!

Easy fix, but not super durable
I was excited to upgrade my hood supports for my 1998 F-250. They worked well for a few months, but one of them has started to lose pressure. Hopefully, it’s just a faulty piece. Otherwise, they were easy to install!

Terrible quality—do not buy!
I purchased these for my 2004 F-150, and one strut broke within a week. I expected better quality. Now I have to replace them again. Save your money and look elsewhere!
