ACDelco GM Original Equipment A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensors monitor the pressure of the refrigerant circuit and provide pressure data to the Engine Control Module (ECM) or HVAC control head. The ECM or control head can then regulate the compressor and cooling fan operation to maintain system pressure within the programmed parameters. I was excited to get this ACDelco sensor for my AC repair, but it arrived with some minor cosmetic damage. It still works fine, but it wasn’t the condition I hoped for. Just a little disappointed in how it was packaged.

Mixed feelings on the installation
