This Alemite 500-E grease gun, which comes with an 18'' hose and coupler, has a cylinder capacity of 16 oz., delivers lubricant at pressures up to 10,000 pounds per square inch (psi) at a rate of 1 oz. per 21 strokes, and can load lubricant three ways: 14 oz. cartridge, suction, or fast refill from an Alemite loader pump. A lever mechanism provides standard volume output. This grease gun has a die cast aluminum head for lightweight durability, and the lower portion of its lever has a vinyl cover to make it easier to grip. A bleeder valve keeps the grease gun from building up excessive pressure in the cylinder. This grease gun injects grease into standard grease fittings and is suitable for applications such as lubricating motor vehicles, construction and industrial equipment, and aeronautics.Oil and grease guns are handheld tools that inject lubricant (dispensed from the barrel or cylinder cartridge) into metal mechanical assemblies. Electric and air-powered grease guns can dispense large volumes of lubricant in commercial applications, while battery-powered (cordless) grease guns are more suitable for mobile and remote applications. Manual grease guns (lever, pistol-grip, screw-type, push-type, and suction) vary in duty and have either a rigid or flexible hose extension for attaching nozzles or a nozzle with coupler for standard grease fittings. Fantastic grease gun! The ability to switch between a 16 oz bulk and a 14 oz cartridge is a big plus. Plus, the high PSI makes it super effective for my truck maintenance. I’d definitely buy again if I need another.

Decent, but delivery could be faster
The grease gun itself works well, and the pressure is great. I just wish the shipping had been quicker. Took longer than I wanted to get it, but now that I have it, I like its performance with both bulk and cartridges.

Strong performance but a bit heavy
The Alemite 500 E grease gun really packs a punch. It develops up to 10,000 PSI, which is impressive for tough jobs. However, it's a bit heavier than I expected, which can make extended use a bit tiring.

I bought this Alemite grease gun for my home workshop, and it hasn't disappointed. The 21 strokes per ounce means I can get a lot done without constantly refilling. The 18-inch hose is a great length too, making it easy to reach hard spots.

Not what I expected
I was excited to use the Alemite grease gun, but it stopped working after just a few uses. The power was good when it worked, but I was disappointed that it didn’t hold up longer. I expected better quality from Alemite.
