Alemite 51942 is a straight adapter designed to adapt a threaded fitting to a different size opening thread. The adapters male end has a thread of 1/4-28 taper THD (SAE-LT) and the female end has a thread of 1/8 in. Nptf. As the inventor of the Zerk fitting, Alemite is a recognized global leader in supplying fittings for automotive and industrial use. Alemite fittings conform to SAE J534 standards for automotive OEM use and Alemite Manufacturing is TS/ISO 16949 certified.
I'm using the Alemite 51942 adapter for my air compressor setup and it's been great! The 1/4-28 SAE LT taper thread connects perfectly. No leaks, and it fits my 1/8 NPTF fittings without any issues. Definitely a handy component for anyone in need of reliable connections.

Not the Best Quality
I bought this Alemite adapter to connect hydraulic lines, and it didn't hold up well. The threads stripped after just a few uses, which was disappointing. I guess you get what you pay for—will be looking for something more durable next time.

Decent Adapter with a Few Flaws
