Sipe tires quickly and effortlessly while maintaining precise control. Siping can greatly improve traction by allowing the tire to reach and maintain optimum temperature. A locking lever and blade clamping screw secures up to 13 blades in the head assembly. Blades can be easily positioned up or down to desired cutting depth. A built in blade rail holds blade strips in place while individual blades are snapped away. Tool heats in 10-15 minutes. 110V plug in operation only.
I've been using the Allstar siper for a few weeks, and while it does heat up nicely and slice through tires effectively, I found it to be a little heavier than I expected. It can make long sessions a bit tiring. Just something to keep in mind if you're planning to use it for extended periods.

Great for racing prep!

Solid, but could use clearer instructions
The heated tire siper does a good job of cutting through the rubber, but the instructions that came with it were a bit vague. It took me a couple of tries to figure out the best way to use it. That said, once I got the hang of it, it worked great!

Stopped working after a few uses
I was disappointed with the Allstar Performance siper. It worked well for a couple of days, but then it just stopped heating. I followed the guidelines, but I guess I got a faulty unit. I'm reaching out for a return, but it's definitely not what I was hoping for.
