Steel small block Chevy valve covers are an excellent alternative to more expensive and heavier aluminum valve covers. Sold in pairs, one cover is solid without holes and one cover includes two fully welded 1-1/2'' baffled breather tubes for proper crankcase venting. Breathers sold separately.
The Allstar valve cover is solid and does the job well, but I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t come with all the necessary mounting hardware. The zinc steel finish is nice, but the assembly took longer than expected because I had to make a trip to the store. Still, it works great!

Rust after a few weeks!
I had high hopes for this zinc cover, but unfortunately, it started to rust after just a few weeks on my car. I liked the design and fit initially, but now I’m worried about durability. Maybe I just got a bad one?

Sturdy valve cover for my project
