Stamped Steel spindle savers strengthen GM Metric spindles, reinforcing the steering arm portion of the spindle and making them suitable for wheel-to-wheel racing. IMCA legal and easily installed, spindle savers are retained by the lower ball joint and tie rod end retaining nuts.
I bought the Allstar Performance spindle gauge for my GM project, and it's been super helpful. The right stamped steel makes it sturdy, and it fits perfectly with the metric spindles I have. Installing this gauge was a breeze, which was a pleasant surprise for someone like me who's still figuring things out.

Decent but tricky to use
This spindle gauge seems well built, but I found the instructions a bit vague. It took me a couple of tries to get the measurements right on my GM spindles. It works fine now, but I wish the setup process wasn't so confusing at first.

Good quality but arrived late
I like the Allstar spindle gauge, and it does what it needs to do. However, it took longer than expected to arrive, which was frustrating. The steel feels durable, and it fits my spindles well, but I could have used it sooner for my project.
