Dipsticks feature a positive lock to keep dipstick in place and seal tight to prevent fluid leaks while sealing out moisture and debris. Steel case fill tubes have a gold finish, include a welded-on mounting tab and are fitted with a rubber grommet type seal which reduces the risk of leaks common with traditional o-ring seals. Locking dipstick tubes are required on 10. 99 and faster drag cars.
Unfortunately, my dipstick arrived with a dent which affected the locking mechanism. I had to exchange it, which took extra time. While I like the concept of this product, the quality control needs improvement. Not thrilled with the experience.

Solid design for my Powerglide
Installed the Allstar Performance dipstick on my Powerglide transmission last week, and I'm really impressed with the quality. The locking feature is great for peace of mind, and the measurements are accurate. Plus, it looks good in my engine bay!

Good item, but had a shipping delay
I like the locking dipstick itself; it fits well and does the job. However, it took longer to arrive than I expected. The package was fine but I was hoping to install it sooner for my project. Still, it works as advertised!

I like the locking feature on this dipstick, but the installation instructions were a bit unclear. I managed to get it on, but it took longer than I expected. If they could improve the instructions, I'd give it a higher rating.
