ArctiClean Thermal cleaner is a safe and easy product used to clean surfaces that build up thermal grease residue, such as heat sinks and CPUs. The ArctiClean thermal remover and surface purifier is a two-step cleaning process that removes existing thermal grease and prepares the thermal surface for a fresh application of thermal interface material. An occasional maintenance with this thermal grease remover is all that is needed to retain optimal performance. The organic acidity of the ingredients makes it a non-corrosive cleaner that also protects against future degradation. ArctiClean thermal cleaner contains flash corrosion inhibitors which leave a clean surface with improved thermal transfer. .
I used the Arctic Silver ArctiClean after replacing my CPU cooler, and it worked like a charm. The 60ml bottle was just the right size, and it got all the old thermal material off without any hassle. Definitely made the application of the new paste a lot easier!

Not as good as expected
I had high hopes for the ArctiClean, but while it did remove some of the thermal paste, it took a lot of scrubbing with the cloth to get the surface really clean. It might work better with older thermal materials, I guess.

Effective but took a while to arrive
The ArctiClean does a fantastic job of removing old thermal paste but I had to wait a bit longer for delivery than I expected. It’s really effective, just wish the shipping was faster. Still, I'd use it again next time!
