I like the functionality of this oil drain but was disappointed when it arrived. The container had a dent that looked like it might affect the seal. It works fine so far, but I wish the packaging had been better to avoid this issue.

Efficient but a bit noisy
The ATD 5197K does a great job with its electric pump, and it can hold a lot of oil, which is perfect for my needs. However, I found the pump to be a bit noisy while in operation. Still, it’s done the job well during my last few oil changes!

Solid choice for DIY oil changes
I purchased the ATD Tools 17-gallon oil drain mainly for my garage to handle oil changes on my cars. The electric pump works like a charm and makes draining quick and easy. Love the low profile design too, it fits under my car with no issues at all!

Stopped working after a few uses
I had high hopes for this oil drain, but after just three uses, the electric pump stopped operating. It’s frustrating because when it worked, it was a reliable unit. I’m really let down and would not recommend it unless they improve the durability.
