ATP TE-6 is an updated OEM replacement transmission control solenoid for the Chrysler A604 / T14E automatic transmissions. Shift solenoid failure causes leaks, sluggish shifts, shudder or a complete inability to shift, as it is common for them to clog and stop operating. This is most often indicated by P0700 and P1776 codes, but it has been found that sluggish transmissions without a code can still require solenoid replacement.
The ATP Automotive TE-6 solenoid works well and was easy to install. Just wish it hadn’t taken almost 2 weeks to arrive. Other than that, it’s been doing its job without any issues.

Received a defective unit
I was really disappointed when my ATP Automotive TE-6 arrived and didn’t work at all. I had to send it back and get a replacement which was a hassle. Hope the next one works better!

Solid replacement for my old solenoid
I replaced my old solenoid with this ATP Automotive TE-6. It fit perfectly and worked like a charm. Shifting is so much smoother now. Definitely worth the investment if you need a new transmission control solenoid!

Works okay but not as expected
I expected more from the ATP TE-6. It works, but the shifting isn't as responsive as I hoped. It's fine for now, but I might look for a different brand next time. Just average.
