I really like my Bell MX-9 Adventure helmet and the photochromatic shield, but the delivery took a few extra days. I was ready to hit the trails, and that was a slight letdown. The product itself is solid, though!

A bit hard to install
I like the Bell MX-9 Adventure helmet, especially the photochromatic shield, but I struggled a bit with installing it. The instructions weren't super clear, which was a bummer. Once it was on, though, the shield worked great!

Stylish and functional!
The Bell MX-9 Adventure with the Protint shield is stylish and does a great job of protecting my eyes on rides. The tint changes nicely and it’s comfortable to wear for long periods. I feel safer on the road now!

Great visibility, even in changing light!
I bought the Bell MX-9 Adventure helmet with the photochromatic Protint shield for my weekend trails, and it's been fantastic. The tint changes quickly based on daylight, which really helps with visibility while riding. Definitely worth it if you do a lot of off-road riding!

Not as dark as expected
I had high hopes for the photochromatic shield for my Bell MX-9 Adventure, but it’s not as dark as I thought it would be in bright sunlight. It works decently, but I was a bit disappointed with the performance overall.
