I bought this brake drum for my 2002 Explorer, and it does the job well. It was quite affordable, and I appreciate that it was designed for my model. However, I've noticed a bit of noise when braking. Not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning for anyone sensitive to that.

Solid Quality Brake Drum for My Explorer
I replaced the rear brake drum on my 2003 Ford Explorer with this Bendix PDR0742 and it fits perfectly. The stopping power is much better than the old drum. Installation was straightforward, no issues at all. Definitely a solid product for anyone needing a brake drum.

Decent Part, Minor Packaging Issue
I got the Bendix rear brake drum for my 2003 Explorer Sport Trac. The drum itself seems fine, but it arrived with a little dent due to poor packaging. Thankfully, it still works well after installation, but a better box would’ve been nice. Just a heads up for future buyers!

Not Happy with My Purchase
Unfortunately, the Bendix brake drum I ordered for my 2003 Explorer arrived damaged. There were visible cracks when I opened the box, which was very disappointing. I had to return it and look for another option; I expected better quality control on their parts.
