Bilstein shock absorbers and struts utilize a unique, velocity sensitive, digressive piston which reacts to changing road conditions to provide consistent fade free performance. All shock absorbers are tuned for each specific application to assure optimal performance is achieved. Bilstein shock absorbers offer a significant improvement in ride quality, handling, and comfort.
The Bilstein shocks fit my 2017 E450 perfectly, and they work well. However, shipping took longer than expected, which was frustrating. Once installed, the handling improved significantly, but I wish the company had better communication regarding delivery times.

Disappointed with the build quality
I was really excited to install these Bilstein shock absorbers on my 2004 E450, but one of them arrived damaged. I contacted customer service, and they were helpful, but it took too long to get the replacement. The performance is good, but I expected better quality control.

Great upgrade for my E450!
I installed these Bilstein rear shock absorbers on my 2015 E450, and wow, what a difference! The ride is so much smoother now, especially when carrying heavy loads for work. I appreciate the standard valving for commercial use; it handles bumps much better than the stock shocks.
