I had high hopes for the Bilstein B8 5100 series, but I was let down. One of the shocks arrived damaged, and after just a few months of use, they started to lose their effectiveness. I really wanted to like them for my 4Runner, but it hasn’t been a good experience so far.

Great Upgrade for My 4Runner
Just installed the Bilstein B8 5100 shocks on my 2020 4Runner, and wow, what a difference! The ride is so much smoother, and I really appreciate the 0-2.5 inch lift in the front. They were pretty easy to mount, and I can already feel the improved handling on the trails. Definitely worth the investment!

Decent Shocks but Not Perfect
I bought these Bilstein shocks for my 2015 4Runner with a rear lift. They perform well, but the installation took longer than expected due to unclear instructions. Also, there was a slight delay in shipping, which was frustrating. But once they were on, the ride quality was noticeably better.
