Blue Ox base plates are custom designed for each specific towed vehicle. When you purchase a Blue Ox base plate, it includes all the necessary hardware and instructions for a do-it-yourself installation.
The Blue Ox BX2698 works well for my Ford Bronco, but I was disappointed that the packaging was dented upon arrival. Luckily, the bracket itself was fine and works as expected. Just a bit annoying to receive it like that.

Good, but a bit tricky to install
The Blue Ox tow bar base plate is solid and seems well-built. However, I had a bit of trouble with the installation instructions; they could be clearer. Once I figured it out, it works great for my Bronco, but it was frustrating at first.

Quality issue after a few uses
I was excited to use this tow bar base plate, but after only a handful of uses, it seems to have developed a minor issue. One of the brackets doesn't hold as securely as it did at first. I’ll reach out to customer service and see if they can help me out.
