Blue Ox General Purpose Adapter Kit adapts any base plate to the Blue Ox tow bars with cross angle. It features a foundation to build the own base plate to fit Blue Ox tow bars. This adapter kit allows certain vehicles to utilize it as a base plate, without modification.
I found the Blue Ox BX88230 kit pretty useful for my towing needs. The adapters work well, but I was a bit let down that one of the smaller pieces was missing from my package. It still gets the job done, though, just a little frustration there.

Not as sturdy as I expected
I had high hopes for the Blue Ox BX88230 adapter kit, but after a few uses, I noticed some bending on a couple of the adapters. They’re okay for light-duty tasks, but I wouldn’t trust them for anything heavy. Really wish they were more durable.
