A weight distribution hitch evenly distributes weight over the axels of the tow vehicle and the trailer for stability and control. The BXW1500 includes the standard coupler hitch head, Standard shank with a 7 Hole/9 inches receiver stinger with 0 inches to 5 inches adjustment and clamp-on brackets.

Works as advertised, but a bit bulky
The hitch works well for my purposes, but I do find it a bit bulky for my liking. That said, it handles the 1500lb tongue weight easily, and the sway control is a nice feature. Just wish it was a bit more compact!

Good, but could improve instructions
The Blue Ox hitch works well for my trailers, but I found the instructions a bit confusing. Once I figured it out, it did the job just fine with the 2-5/16 inch ball. Overall happy, just a minor hassle during setup!

Installation was a pain
While the Blue Ox BXW1500 seems sturdy, I struggled a bit with the installation process. It took longer than I anticipated and some parts felt a bit off. It's doing its job now, but I was frustrated at first!
