Bosch Severe Duty brake pads use the latest technology in friction for best in class performance, quiet operation, and long life under demanding conditions. Severe Duty pads are ideal for vehicles subject to constant stop-and-go operation or that carry heavy payloads - driving conditions that demand the most from your vehicle's braking system. Features OE-style multilayer shims, slots, and chamfers (where specified) for correct platform specific fitment and a hassle free installation process. Severe Duty pads are engineered, tested, and manufactured in North America. Set includes pads for 1 axle (2 wheels), synthetic lube, and hardware (as applicable). Pads come boxed with a paper inner wrap for added protection.
I grabbed the Bosch severe duty pads for my Dodge Dakota, and while they did stop the car, I noticed some squeaking that wasn’t there with my old pads. Hoping it’s just a break-in thing, but it’s a little annoying.

Decent but shipping was a hassle
I like the performance of these Bosch brake pads, but I had issues with the delivery taking longer than expected. They arrived in good condition but I wish the packaging was a bit sturdier to avoid any mishaps during transit.

Solid option but a bit tricky to install
These brake pads work well with my Chrysler Aspen, but the installation instructions were a bit unclear. It took me longer than expected, but once they were in, the braking feels great and they’re lasting well.

Great pads for my Durango!
I installed these Bosch BSD1084 brake pads on my 2015 Dodge Durango and they fit perfectly. The braking performance is solid, and there's way less noise compared to my old ones. Definitely a good upgrade for anyone needing new pads!
