Bussmann High amp circuit breakers are typically used in auxiliary and accessory circuits for trucks, buses, RVs and marine applications. All high amp circuit breakers comply with the SAE J1117 standard for ignition protection and have applications in battery charging systems that use battery isolators to manage and protect batteries in multi-battery installations. Offered in flush-mount or panel-mount. 150 amp.
I've used this type of circuit breaker in my electrical work for years, and this 150 amp Bussmann model stands up to the quality I expect. The Type III design is easy to work with, and I appreciate the build quality. Definitely a good choice for any panel upgrade!

The circuit breaker itself seems solid and works well, but I had to wait longer than expected for it to arrive. I was looking for a quick fix, but the 150 amp Bussmann breaker did the job once it finally got here. No issues with performance so far!

Not what I expected
I purchased the Bussmann CB185 for a DIY project, but I found it difficult to install. The instructions could have been clearer. Once I got it wired up, it worked fine, but I wish the setup process had been easier. Wouldn't buy it again just for that reason.

Solid circuit breaker for the price
I installed this Bussmann CB185 for my home workshop, and it's been great so far. The 150 amp rating is perfect for my needs, and the Type III design feels really sturdy. Just a bit tricky to fit in the panel, but once it’s in, it works like a charm!
