I purchased this Buyers Products tailgate cylinder for my truck, and it's working great! The 8-inch stroke is just what I needed for a smooth operation. Installation was straightforward, which I really appreciated.

Disappointed with the Fit
I was excited to use this pneumatic cylinder, but it didn't fit my setup as well as I'd hoped. The clevis mount was tricky to work with, and I had to modify things a bit to make it work. Not thrilled about it.

Average Quality, But Functional
The tie rod style cylinder from Buyers Products does the job, but I expected a bit more durability since it’s used for tailgates. It feels a little flimsy during operation. Still, it hasn't failed me yet with its 3.25 bore.
