Edge Sealant protects the edges from turning black which occurs when silver backing is exposed to humidity. I was excited to use this edge sealant, but the can I received was faulty. It wouldn’t spray properly, and I ended up with drips instead of a nice edge. It’s frustrating because I really needed it for my project.

Not as easy to use as expected
The CRL edge sealant does the job, but I had a tough time controlling the spray. It ended up getting on the mirror itself and I had to clean it up right away. The sealant is good once applied, but the application could be improved.

Great for my DIY mirror project
I used the CRL Aerosol Mirror Edge Sealant on a couple of large mirrors I framed and it worked like a charm. The aerosol spray made application super easy, and it dried quickly too. I feel much better knowing the edges are sealed now!
