I installed this motor on my 2005 Rancher, and it worked fine initially. However, after a couple of months, it stopped functioning completely. Not sure if I just got a bad unit, but I expected better durability from Caltric. Very disappointed with my experience here.

Solid replacement part for my Rancher
I recently replaced the power shift control motor on my 2001 Honda TRX350FE with this Caltric model, and it works like a charm. The installation was straightforward, and the motor seems to have good build quality. My ATV shifts smoothly again, so I'm pleased with my purchase!

Decent motor, but instructions were lacking
I bought this Caltric motor for my 2004 TRX350TE. While the motor itself is functioning well, I found the installation instructions a bit confusing. It took me longer to set it up than expected. Just be prepared for some trial and error if you're not a pro at these things!
