I’ve been using this Caltric steering gear box on my 1998 electric Club Car DS for a few weeks now, and it's been solid. The steering feels more controlled, and installation was easy for someone with basic tools. Well worth it!

Good Quality, Some Installation Issues
The Caltric gear box seems built well, but I struggled a bit with the installation. The instructions weren't super clear, so it took longer than I expected. Once I got it in, though, I noticed a big difference in handling!

Great Upgrade for My Golf Cart

Not What I Expected
Unfortunately, this Caltric gear box didn’t perform as I had hoped on my 1990 Club Car DS. It started making weird noises after just a few uses. I might have gotten a defective unit, but I'm not loving this purchase.
