Swapped in this Caltric steering gear box last weekend. Installation was straightforward with the right tools, and steering is responsive now. I appreciate the quality build — feels much more reliable than the old one!

Decent replacement but delivery took long
The steering gear box works well with my Yamaha, and it seems sturdy enough. Just a bummer that shipping took a week longer than expected. If you can wait, it’s a solid product, but I wish it had arrived sooner.

Not impressed, arrived damaged
I was excited to put this on my Yamaha, but when it arrived, the box was dented and it had some scratches. It still works, but I expected better quality control. Disappointed with the packaging.

Great fit for my Yamaha
I recently installed this Caltric rack and pinion steering gear box on my Yamaha, and it fits like a glove! The steering feels so much smoother now. Just took a bit of time to get the alignment right, but totally worth it.

Good product, but tricky installation
The Caltric steering gear box does perform well once installed, but I had a tough time getting everything aligned correctly. Directions could be clearer, but it functions solidly now that it's in place!
