I bought this Caltric starter for my John Deere Z530M, and it fits perfectly! It cranks the engine without any issues, and I love the ease of installation. Definitely a solid replacement part for my lawn tractor.

Arrived damaged, not impressed
I received the Caltric starter for my Z530M, but it was damaged in transit. I had to deal with customer service to get a replacement. The whole experience was frustrating, and I still don’t know if the part is good since I haven’t been able to use it yet.

Works, but took a while to arrive
The starter works fine with my Z530R mower, but I was disappointed with the shipping time. It took longer than expected to get here. Still, it was easy to install and has been running great since I put it in!

Decent, but had some issues
I tried this starter on my Ztrak mower, and while it did turn the engine over, it wasn't as powerful as I expected. It struggled a bit on the first few tries. Just okay for the price, but I might look for a different option next time.
