I installed this on my 1980 Johnson 35HP. It works okay for now, but I feel like the build quality is a bit lacking. I’m a little worried about its durability after a few uses. We'll see how long it lasts!

I bought this Caltric starter for my 1982 Johnson 35HP motor and it fits perfectly. Installation was straightforward, and it cranks the engine like a charm. Very satisfied with the performance so far!

Not bad but had some issues
The Caltric starter works fine but took longer to arrive than expected. The installation instructions were a bit unclear, but once I figured it out, it started my 1981 Johnson motor without a hitch.

Disappointed with the quality
