I replaced my old starter with this Caltric model on my 90hp Johnson, and it works like a charm. It fit perfectly and started right up without any issues. Just make sure to follow the installation instructions carefully!

Does the job but minor hiccup
I installed this Caltric starter on my 90TL Johnson without issue, but the shipping was delayed, and the box showed up a bit banged up. It works fine, but a little more care in packaging would be appreciated!

Decent starter but arrived late
The starter itself is compatible with my 1996 Johnson 90hp, and it functions well. However, it took longer than expected to arrive, which was a bit frustrating. It works great now that it's installed, though!

Not as good as I hoped
Unfortunately, this starter didn’t last long on my 90TX. It stopped working after just a few uses, which was disappointing. I expected better durability given the good reviews.
