The starter itself is decent and compatible with my Promax, but it took longer than expected to arrive. Once I installed it, I was happy with how it performed. Just make sure to order ahead if you're in a hurry!

Stopped working after two uses
I was really disappointed with this Caltric starter. It worked great for the first couple of uses on my 300CXL, but then it just stopped. I tried troubleshooting, but no luck. Not what I was hoping for at all.

Mixed feelings about the installation
I had some trouble fitting this starter onto my 300XL. It works fine now, but the instructions weren’t clear. Took me a while to figure it out, but at least it kicks the motor over without issue now!
