While the starter itself works well, I was disappointed with the packaging. The box arrived a bit damaged, and I worry it might affect the product in the long run. But so far, it’s functioning as it should.

Disappointed with performance
I installed this Caltric starter on my 2001 Mercury and it worked for a couple of weeks, then stopped cranking. Not what I expected for a marine product. I’m considering reaching out for a replacement.

Great starter for saltwater use
