The Caltric starter works fine with my Onan KV 4000, but it took longer to arrive than I expected. It started my generator without any issues, but I did have to read the instructions a couple of times since they were a bit unclear. Overall, it does the job!

Easy Install and Solid Performance
Swapped out my old starter for this one, and it was super easy to install. The 24-tooth drive fits my Onan KV 4000 perfectly. It's been reliable for a few weeks now during our RV trips. Definitely worth the price!

I really wanted to love this Caltric starter, but it stopped working after just a month of use. It started my Onan microquiet generator great at first, but then it just wouldn’t engage. Now I’m stuck needing a new one already. Disappointing!
