I recently installed this Caltric YB12AL-A2 AGM battery in my 1990 Yamaha Virago 535, and it fits perfectly. The AGM technology gives it a longer life, and I’ve noticed better starting performance. Definitely a good buy if you're looking for reliability!

Decent battery, but shipping was slow
The Caltric AGM battery works fine with my 1988 Virago 535, and the installation was straightforward. However, it took a bit longer to arrive than expected, which was annoying. It’s holding up well, so I’m mostly happy with it.

Battery stopped working too soon
I was really hopeful about this Caltric battery for my 1989 Yamaha Virago, but it only lasted a few months before it wouldn’t hold a charge anymore. Installation was easy, but I’m disappointed with the lifespan. Not sure I’d buy this again.
