The Strap Ring is constructed of stainless steel and is break-rated at 2,000 lbs., which far exceeds all other tie-down hooks or caribiners on the market. Attaches tie-downs almost anywhere there is an 8mm or smaller bolt (smaller bolts obviously are not as strong). The original idea was to give the motorcyclist a place to attach tie-downs to the triple clamp of a dirt bike but there are many other uses, such as in the bed of a truck or trailer, behind passenger peg bolts on a street bike or anywhere you can put a bolt!. The eye is large enough to accept the large size 3/8 coated tie-down hooks as well as 8mm caribiners and comes packaged in pairs. Made in the U.S.A.
The Canyon Dancer strap rings do their job well, but I struggled a bit with the setup. The installation instructions weren't very clear, which was frustrating at first. Once I figured it out, they worked great for my needs!

Not as sturdy as I hoped
I was excited to try out these Canyon Dancer rings, but after a couple of uses, I noticed some wear and tear on the stitching. They secure my gear, but I expected them to last longer for the price. Just be cautious if you're using them for heavy loads.
